Hi, how do I map an entire construction with an EPD that contains all the materials in that construction?
I have a ceiling Type which consists of 3 different materials: insulation, wood lamellas and air, and I have an EPD for Basic Akustikpanel that I want to map to that type. But won’t RTLCA calculate the quantity/values 3 times this way (because of the 3 materials included in the Type?)
Yes, it looks like you are right there
I can see that the declared unit is m2, so I would map Basic akustikpanel to one of the three materials you have, if one of these covers the the entire surface area. Then I would un-check the two other materials, as they are now redundant.
Now I can’t see your data, but a assume that the insulation layer covers the entire surface area.
@Mads_Ditlevsen I asked the same question during the Molio-workshop on Tuesday - do you have any input for how to use the construction mapping correctly? Does it require modelling only one solid for all the materials included in a construction in Revit instead of modelling one per material?
