During a meeting among sustainability managers in my company, we discussed the future requirements for LCA calculations for renovation projects.
We know that you are already developing features for this, but that we do not yet know the scope of the regulations.
We discussed a feature we thought could be good. It works together with the phasing of building elements in Revit: existing, demolition and future conditions. Where Real Time LCA, for example could;
- Only load the building elements from RVT that are in ‘future conditions’
- Loads materials and quantities of building elements that are to be demolished
This of course being dependent on what the legal requirements turn out to be.
If this is something that you already thought of, totally fair. We were just discussing it and wanted to suggest it to be sure
