Hi team RTLCA
We have a few feature requests. These features are nice to have, not need to have. Just to say that there might be other features that should be placed higher on your priority list
Feature 1: Overview for organisation
It would be nice, to be able to see all LCA projects in the organisation. At the moment, it is only possible, if you manually add everyone in your organisation, but it would nice to have an organisation view instead.
Feature 2: Adjust tile size
I love the tile mode for the projects overview, but when we start having a lot of projects, you loose overview. So it would be awesome, if we as users could use a slider or something to adjust the size of the tiles. This way, you can âzoom outâ to get the quick overview of projects if needed.
Feature 3: Group projects
Being able to group projects in folders would be awesome. We often make multiple scenarios of early-stage volume study models, so the project overview quickly gets fluttered. Here it would be nice to place all the scenarios in one folder.
In the same way, we like to have a LCA calculation for each project phase. Being able to group the different phases of the same project in a folder would be great.
Hope you agree on the need for these features
Thanks team!
Hi @MarkLabrosse
Thanks for the your valuable inputs - as always really good!

This is something we have been requested earlier. This would need to define organisational roles that are more meaningful and defined than the admin and read-only that we have today. But definitely something we will look at.

Seems doable but requires a lot of rework of the view. I can recommend that using the table view and / or filters in order to get a better overview. Also my comment i 3, would also help.

Also a recent request we have received. It seems legit that we should support some sort of organisation of the projects. My ideas is that we could provide two things.
A. A âsmartâ folder structure that shows the projects in folders based on the basic project info - such as buildingtype, calculationtype, projectstatus, country etc.
B. User defined folders that works like normal.

Very understandable that 2 is a more timeconsumming task. I try to flip between tile-view and list-view. List view gives the overview, but for my early stage variance studies, I new the 3D view to tell the different scenarios apart, as the usually very a lot architecturally. So for those i still need the tile view. But again, it works, so I wouldnât call the feature high priority.
I actually donât know if we need a âsmart folderâ. Itâs a nice feature, but I think that there are other features with much higher priority. I guess that all the features of the smart folder already exists using the filters. So good old manual folders is enough in my minds eye - and they probably require less lines of code, I presume
