I’ve just discovered that every time I create a new construction it automatically duplicate the construction and switch the names. That gives me a lot of constructions and confusion.
Why is this happening?

Just to make sure - are you creating new constructions from scratch or cloning existing constructions?

I’m cloning from other similar constructions and change the dimensions..
Then I am not entirely sure what the issue might be.
Can you confirm that this is your workflow?
- Clone Construction A
- Change materials, name etc and Save as Construction B.
- See both Construction A and Construction B in the library?
The problem is that every time i’m creating a new construction i’m actually creating 2.
In the picture below you can see the first two constructions. I made them but then it automatically created another similar one and just changed the name order.
It’s like it creating the construction I made in the original construction. I really don’t know how to explain it.
The red mark is the complete construction I made. The yellow is the name of the construction inside the complete construction.
The issue is that if it shows every custom made construction i’ve made inside a complete construction then I get hundreds of constructions in my library..
Really hope it makes sense..

Ahh, yes I see.
We actually by design create the inhomogeneous layer as a seperat construction also so we potentially can use that in future new constructions, but we used to not show those in the library.
I have created a ticket for this and will investigate the reason for them showing up.
