Changelog: Mapping View Refactor, Smarter Memory, Better Auto-Mapping & More 🚀

Hey Real-Time LCA @Community :waving_hand:

This release is all about speed, clarity, and smoother workflows. From major performance improvements to quality-of-life upgrades, here’s what’s new:

:high_voltage: Mapping View Refactor - Faster, Smarter, More Stable

We’ve completely refactored the Mapping View, and the results are already visible:

  • Inventory loading is now independent of the dashboard summary and library. That means faster initial loads and less waiting.
  • We’ve optimized how we handle events like mapping a material or construction, setting lifetimes, and saving mappings - making the entire experience snappier and more stable.

This is just the beginning - more Mapping View enhancements are on the roadmap.

:books: In-Context Explanations for Inputs & Graphs

You’ll now see more helpful explanation texts across inputs and graphs throughout the platform.

  • Learn the in and outputs of the platform from day 1
  • Learn what’s being calculated
  • Understand why it matters

This rollout is ongoing - we’ll continue adding explanations in the coming weeks.

:brain: Real-Time Remembers

Two improvements to help you stay in flow:

  • Library filters now remember your last used filter - no need to reselect every time.
  • Model selector in Mapping View now remembers the last model you used.

:robot: Auto-Mapping Rewritten

We’ve rebuilt the Auto-Mapping engine from the ground up:

  • Uses project history to find better, faster matches.
  • :white_check_mark: When using project-based auto-mapping with overwrite enabled, it now automatically checks the “include in calculation” box.

Fewer clicks, more confidence.

:bug: Bug Fixes

  • :brick: Fixed a bug where Highest Emission Impact by Material was not calculated correctly for constructions.

We’re working hard to make Real-Time LCA faster, smarter, and more intuitive - thank you for all the feedback that helps guide these changes.
