Changelog: Docs Platform Launches & Custom B6 Energy Inputs 🚀

Hey @Community :waving_hand:

Big week. We’re shipping two of the most-requested items at once — the public Real-Time LCA documentation platform at docs.realtimelca.com and custom inputs for B6 operational energy — plus a long list of inventory, library, and mapping polish. Let’s dig in:

:books: Welcome to docs.realtimelca.com

After several weeks of focused work, our public documentation platform is live at docs.realtimelca.com. One home for everything you need to get the most out of Real-Time LCA — and for developers who want to build on top of it.

The site is organised into five clearly separated sections:

  • User Guide — account activation, Projects (overview, create, dashboard, settings & menu actions), Library (Materials browse, collections, creating verified EPDs and custom materials; Constructions browse), Integrations (Speckle for Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper; IFC upload; Excel upload; REST API; AI tools), and account & user settings.

  • Methodology & Compliance — ISO and EN standards, the Level(s) framework, and pre-configured calculation types for Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Faroe Islands, Greenland, Germany, Ireland, plus a generic “Other”.

  • Developers — full REST API reference rendered live from our OpenAPI 3.0 spec, plus agent-ready pages: MCP server setup for Claude, Claude Code, Codex, ChatGPT, Mistral, and LM Studio, with reusable prompts and skills to get you productive immediately.

  • Get Involved — community channels (coming soon).

  • Changelog — public release notes (you’re looking at the source of these now).

The first public Nordic LCA documentation platform with an agent-ready developer surface — REST, MCP, prompts, and skills, all in one place.

:high_voltage: Custom Inputs for B6 Operational Energy

You can now provide your own data source for B6 — Operational Energy Use instead of relying solely on the platform defaults. This is a long-standing ask from teams who already have measured consumption data, project-specific assumptions, or country/scheme-specific energy mixes they need to apply.

The change flows through the full calculation pipeline, so custom B6 values are reflected consistently in the inventory, dashboard, and reports.

This release also includes the Iceland-specific installation input denominator unit as part of the broader B6 work — keeping our Nordic localization layer aligned with how each country expects energy inputs to be expressed.

:shopping_cart: Bulk Selection in Project Overview & Library

You can now select multiple items at once in both Project Overview and the Library. Combined with the new filter persistence (below), navigating large workspaces should feel a lot lighter.

:package: Collections in the Constructions Library

The Constructions view in the library now supports collections, matching how collections already work for materials. Group your favourite wall, floor, and roof constructions into reusable sets and keep your library tidy.

:floppy_disk: The Platform Now Remembers Your Filters

Tired of hiding “On Hold” and “Archived” projects every single time you opened Real-Time LCA? Us too. Your filter selections on Project Overview are now persisted locally, so the platform opens the way you left it.

Thanks to Lasse Hagerup for pushing on this one.

:brick: Inventory & Mapping Improvements

A bundle of refinements aimed at the day-to-day work of mapping materials and reviewing components:

  • Full Type and Material names on hover in the inventory — no more truncated labels when you need the full name.
  • Three decimal places allowed in the Material Modal — for when you need that precision on assigned values.
  • Expanded state and scroll position preserved in the Building Component Inventory — no more losing your place after a small action.
  • SI Agent mappings refresh the inventory automatically — no more page reload after a remap.
  • Cleaner Rhino Types — the “unknown” placeholder name is gone where it shouldn’t have appeared.
  • Improved user feedback across actions, so it’s clearer when something saved, succeeded, or needs attention.

:world_map: Project Creation Polish

Two small but welcome upgrades to the project creation flow:

  • The Location step now opens with a map centered on your current location (with your permission) instead of a blank page — much nicer starting point before you type the address.
  • The number of persons field now accepts decimal values — useful for projects where occupancy isn’t a whole number.

There’s also a broader project navigation refactor under the hood, smoothing out how you move between project views.

:sweden: Resurs-ID on Boverket Materials

All Boverket materials in Real-Time LCA now carry their Resurs-ID as the declaration number. This matches how the Boverket Klimatdatabasen is referenced externally and makes it much easier to trace materials back to source for Swedish projects.

:bug: Bug Fixes

  • :globe_showing_europe_africa: Fixed an urgent issue where materials with only GWP-Total (no GWP) showed 0 emission in the inventory and dashboard. This affected all new EPDs since we stopped auto-generating GWP. Fixed!
  • :iceland: Hidden the Report option for Iceland projects, since the backend doesn’t generate reports there yet — no more confusing “country not allowed” errors.
  • :building_construction: Fixed a bug where the Special Condition (S) button disappeared when a construction was dragged onto the outer/parent row of a type collection. Reported by Drias on Danish projects. Fixed!
  • :artist_palette: Fixed white background boxes appearing on text sections inside info modals — modals now look consistent throughout.
  • :bar_chart: Fixed the result graph unit in the material modal showing the total emission first and only scaling to /m²/year after a refresh.
  • :robot: Fixed a Stream error that broke the AI Assistant.
  • :floppy_disk: Fixed an issue where some users couldn’t save their constructions. Fixed!
  • :triangular_ruler: Fixed Speckle/Revit quantity extraction (“fejl i mængdeudtræk”) that was producing incorrect material quantities on certain models.
  • :minus: Fixed an issue where adding a Special Condition sometimes increased the emission instead of subtracting it. Now it does what it says on the tin.

This release pairs a big platform milestone — public docs — with one of the most-requested calculation features we’ve shipped this year. As always, your feedback fuels these improvements — keep it coming at community.realtimelca.com.
