Mapping doors and windows

When I upload the quantities from Revit, I’m experiencing an issue related to doors and windows. As shown in my screenshots below, doors and windows in Revit are categorized under, for example, “Ovenlys Kuppel,” “Ovenlys Røg,” and “Indv. Dør enkel”, “Indv. Dør med formstøbning”.

However, when I extract the quantities, these categories are merged. For instance, I have a 1000x1000 Ovenlys Kuppel and a 1000x1000 Ovenlys Røg but in Real Time the mapping displays “Windows: 1000x1000” with a total quantity of 2 — even though they are two different window types. The same issue occurs with doors.

Could you please advise if this is something that can be resolved now, or if it might be addressed in a future update?

Hi @Lukas_Hejl

The reason for this is that we don’t differentiate on the Family Name, but solely on Category and Type Name. And since the Type Name is the same for both they are counted as one.

I can see why this is causing some confusion and it is something that we plan to address in a coming release. Until then a more specific Type Name will fix the issue.
