Hi guys, I’m working on a multistorey residential project with 5 different apartment types repeated throughout 4 floors. The architect has structured the modelling setup with one main model containing everything except the apartments. He then has a linked revit file for each apartment type each copied 4 times. (for every floor) I’m exporting from the main file and have created a specific view for RTLCA just to easily remove elements not included in LCA calc. Furthermore when exporting the project through Speckle I made sure to tick the ‘include linked elements’ box in advanced settings. My issue is that I’ve got an LVT flooring in RTLCA totaling 549 square meters (12 pieces) and in my revit floor schedule i have 1133 square meters LVT flooring (22 pieces). Something doesn’t add up. Hi Mirnes, Thanks for reaching out to the community and sharing this detailed bug report. What Connector version are you using? A similar problem occurred before when exporting linked floors. We worked on a solution with Speckle, and it should have been fixed in recent releases. Could you please verify that you use version 2.20.4 or newer? ---

Hi Mirnes, In this case, there is most likely a bug in the Speckle connector. Can I ask you to share the Revit files with me at [kilian@gaiup.com](mailto:kilian@gaiup.com)? I would require these files to replicate the bug and see how we can fix it. ---

Hi Kilian, I’ve been ill lately, hence the missing reply. I’ll try to package the files and send them to you when I get the time this week. Meanwhile I’ve had to manually adjust the squarefootage in RTLCA. ---

Hi @MirnesT and @Kilian I have a similar problem. In the project I am working on, I have apartment types that are linked to one large project file. Even though I check ‘Send linked models’ in the advanced settings and the different linked apartment types are sent, they are only sent once, even though they are linked to the project file multiple times. This means I have to use schedules to know the quantities of each material, which defeats the purpose of loading the materials into RTLCA. Is there another advanced setting or specific method for linked models that can help with this? Best regards, ELA
