Hi team
I just looked at the EPD for Woodfiber AIR. The λ-value changes whether the granulate is loose, e.g. attics, or if is in a closed construction, e.g. in a wall construction. This also means that there are 2 different declared densities, respectively 26 kg/m3 and 43 kg/m3. I can see that the EPD in the library is declared for Woodfiber AIR in a closed construction.
Could you please change this to 2 different materials in the library, so it becomes clear whether we use the EPD for loose insulation or insulation in a closed construction? That would be great ![]()
is it possible to add this EPD today?
Hi Anna,
Is there a specific slab system thickness you will be needing from within the EPD? ![]()
Hi ![]()
90 mm is fine.
The EPD is now in the library ![]()

Hi Mike,
The EPDs are now in the library. ![]()

Thanks @Dimitrios_Ts but I can see, that there is a 3rd category
So we also need one for 36 kg/m3 ![]()

Adding a field in the mapping that allows one to change convertion factor would solve this issue ![]()
But it also looks like the EPD has different GWP values for its 4 production locations ![]()

Hey,
I have been looking at the EPD for RT840 on a specific project where we use RT840, and the one you have entered seems to be incorrect. Could you please re-check it and correct the mistake? The declared unit should be 1 ton, but in the EPD it is listed as 1 m². I have tried to calculate using that EPD, but the results I get are way off.
Thanks in advance,
Santhos
Hi Santhos,
It should be fixed now ![]()
Let us know if you face any further issues.

Dimitrios
