# Can't map materials manually

Hi team

I’ve both tried uploading an excel file and adding a type manually. It doesn’t work. My coworker tried the same without luck. We also tried yesterday. Is there something wrong with the RTLCA server right now?

The video below shows what happens when I try.

Hi again @MarkLabrosse  
Just checking in to let you know that we are digging into this - so this is just an update.  
Currently it doesn’t show any relation to manually creation or excel upload of materials.

Could you try to replicate in a new project?

Hi @MarkLabrosse

Sounds good. In the meantime we actually found a bug in the original project that we worked on.

We’ve fixed the issue that prevented your materials list from refreshing after uploading an Excel file. The materials were being saved correctly, but the system couldn’t display them due to a server-side problem. This is now working, and your materials should appear immediately after future uploads. Please let us know if you see the same error again.
