# Auto Mapping issue

Not sure why, but I would expect that following example should be automapped. However it doesn’t work.  
Same material name - same product in all other buildups.

A couple of questions @Julian3000

- Which auto mapping function are you using (most recent, most frequently or by project)?
- Is the Type name (Etageadskillese - 680 mm) the same in other projects?

I tried all of them (except “By project” - I tried to refer to the current project, but it was not on the list - a feature to add?)

Ahh, okay.  
Then it makes sense to me.  
The reason why the Etageadskillese - 680 mm is not being mapped by the Automapping feature is that we didn’t find any type-material combination within your projects with that name combination.  
The feature you are suggesting is simply not possible, since the automapping feature relies solely on other mappings where the type-material names are the same and therefore we can’t target the same project you are in.
